The mirror is free. Continuity has a price.
Anyone can hold up the mirror once, free of charge, without an account. Labs that want to keep their assessment over time, work with members, and commit results to their own repository pay a flat per-Lab rate. Federation hosts that run a tenant for several Labs pay for the shared infrastructure.
Tier 0 and Tier 1 are open today. Tier 2 (Lab) and Tier 3 (Federation host) are listed for review; checkout opens after the repo adapter ships and after a soft-launch with Syntrociety and Ribeira-coop. Founding Labs receive a twelve-month grandfather period when checkout goes live.

A Lab as a collective subject. Multiple members, unlimited measurements, baseline and trajectory, commits to your own Git repository. Choose the bracket that matches your Lab's situation; no audit, no verification.
Tier 3, Federation host
For organisations that run Compass on their own subdomain for several Labs. Your branding, your default languages, and a federation-wide aggregation view that activates when at least three Labs in your tenant opt in to share.

Universities, EU research programmes, policy advisors. By contract, not self-serve. Cross-Lab research access requires at least three Labs that have opted in via the cross_lab_panel consent. Custom rubric work happens by pull request to the code repository.

Each Lab and host picks its own bracket at sign-up. No documentation, no verification, no audit. The choice sits with the Lab. The federation handles misuse through norms, not through billing.
- Civic and coop. Unfunded or small-budget initiatives, cooperatives under roughly one hundred thousand euro annual revenue, community organisations.
- Standard. Funded Labs, small foundations, project teams within larger organisations.
- Commercial and consultancy. Consultancies that ship SYFERS work, commercial teams within for-profit organisations.
All prices in EUR, before VAT where applicable. EU prices are EU prices; we do not vary by region. Yearly billing gives the equivalent of two months free.
